Currently coveting #2

I love school, and I love being a student. The one thing I don't like: not having much spending cash. Bummer! But, that doesn't mean I can't window shop. And, boy...do I window shop! If I could have my wishes granted I'd get the following things. I also think I may have this obsession with foxes. Sly and cunning little animals.

Aubin & Willis Fox Scarf
Penfield parka

Tory Burch Fox Ballet Flats

Ann Taylor Dress

We're going on a dress hunt...

...more of a dress hunt for Vegas. It's tough out there, but I've fallen in love with this dress. It doesn't scream Vegas, but it does scream sultry, sexy vixen. That falls under Vegas right?! I might still get and take it with me, because you never know when you'll have a need for a dress like this. I love me a great wiggle dress, especially those made by Stop Staring. I own an emerald green satin wiggle dress and its to die for!

Yes, I think its imperative that I buy this dress stat!!

Crafty Saturday

Last Saturday night El Novio went out to see a show with some friends and I stayed home and participated in illicit domestic activities. No, not really. You see, I'm a bit odd in that I enjoy very much sewing, cooking, laundry, DIYs, and anything else that screams DO-MES-TIC! I'm not quite sure why I enjoy it so much, could it be my perverse mentality that being a domestic is what I should be? Or the fact that I take pleasure in having a sort of dying skill set? Je ne sais pas! All I know is that it doesn't matter. What does matter is that I enjoy being me and only me. I mean, why bother trying to be someone else, when there is only one me! So after a few hours of being on my sewing machine and watching re-runs of Melissa & Joey the following items are some of the products of being crafty on a Saturday night.
I started this skirt last year, which was meant to be a full skirt, and I redid it and made it into a straight skirt.
*I was uber lazy and inserted an elastic waistband on my skirt. Don't matter 'cuz it looks good! :)
I made my nephew a nifty fabric number book.

Shot of the cover of said book.
*This fabric number book literally sat in my stash for over a year. They were going to toss this out at work and I salvaged it. Took it home and washed it. And now...bada-bing bada-boom! Benjamin gets a one of a kind number book!

Also, does anyone know how to change the settings on Photo Booth so it does inverse the pictures?

Sorry, new Gap jeans

I’ve had my eye on a pair of jeans from the Gap, sadly, I can’t seem to budge with their price tag of $69.50!!! Especially being on a tight budget nowadays that’s almost a month worth of gas, a few meals and even a major trip to Target. I, however, do have about 4 pairs of jeans in my closet that I haven’t worn in the past few months due to a weight gain. Now this is where I am determined to not succumb to my itch of “wanting a new pair of jeans.” I’m going to weigh myself and set a running schedule up for myself and my goal is to be able to fit back into them. I mean, not just those jeans, but I have a whole closet full of clothes that I can wear and restyle & refashion with my handy dandy sewing machine. So here goes: newest resolution: to lose enough weight so I can fit back into my jeans & skirts.
In case you were wondering, here are the jeans I’ve been dying to get (it’s so hard too, since I even have a 40% coupon for the Gap!!!)

Parka + Leopard

I just absolutely love this combination of a parka, stripes & leopard print flats! I will definitely be trying out this combination on my upcoming trip. (I won’t share any details yet!! I’m just really excited to take my first vacation in 2 years!) Via. classiq

Not like I need another one...

As a good shopper on a budget, I’m once again virtual shopping and then putting back everything. Another gorgeous wool dress that caught my eye!
